Օn June 8, a meeting with the winners of the 2022 "Neruzh 3.0" program was held at the Ministry of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia.
Narek Abelyan, the director of the first prize-winning company "Biocentric" of the "Neruzh 3.0" project, and Artak Abrahamyan, the director of the third prize-winning company "ATMT" told about the achievements they had after the end of the project and the impact of the grants received within the framework of "Neruzh" on the development of their companies.
The award winners also shared the positive impressions they received during last year's event. They expressed their willingness to participate in this year's "Neruzh 4.0" program and presented suggestions on the organization of the event. The winners of "Neruzh 3.0" emphasized the importance of the program encouraging professional repatriation of Diaspora Armenians.
As a result of the meeting, an agreement was reached to activate the meetings with the winners and participants of the "Neruzh" program of different years in order to develop relations with each other and generate new thoughts and ideas.
"Neruzh" is a state program for technology startups, the goal of which is to promote the professional repatriation of Diaspora Armenians, contributing to the economic progress of Armenia and the development of the startup ecosystem. Startups from any country in the world, whose founders or co-founders are at least half of Diaspora Armenians, can participate in the program.
"Neruzh" program was successfully launched in 2018. Since its launch, three events have been held: "Neruzh 1.0" in 2018, "Neruzh 2.0" in 2019 and "Neruzh 3.0" in 2022. All three prize winners of "Neruzh 3.0" program represented the biotechnology sphere. The 1st place was taken by "Biocentric" company, receiving 20 million AMD, the 2nd place by "Reactive Science" company, receiving 15 million AMD, and the 3rd place by "ATMT" company, receiving 10 million AMD.
